The field is on flat terrain and not on a slope, however the field has a very uneven surface due to the frequent visits of a tribe of moles! Care must be taken, and you use the field at your own risk.

Q: Can I smoke in the field?

Sorry no. Archies Field has a strict no smoking policy, anyone found to be smoking will be banned from future use.

Q: Is there somewhere I can park?

Yes, we have a small car parking area for two cars, this is not secure. Please keep your dogs on lead until you are safely in the field with the gates locked. Then you can let your dog’s free and have fun.

Q: How big is the field?

It is approximately 5 Acres Please refer to the photograph on our home page to give you a clearer idea of size.

Q: Is there a water supply in the field?

Water is provided in water containers and can be found by the gate. We do recommend that you bring your own water as well, as the water is replenished daily, but may be depleted by the time of your appointment.

Q: How do I dispose of my dogs waste?

Due to planning restrictions, we have a poo free field. Archies Field provides poo bags for you to pick, bag and take home. Anyone found not picking up after their dog will be banned from future use.

Q: What if it’s Raining/Snowing on the day of my booking. Can I Re-schedule?

If your dog doesn't enjoy being out in the rain/snow, then we would suggest that you check the weather forecast the day before your visit. If you re-schedule with more than 24 hours before your appointment time, you will not be charged. Alternatively, if your dog is hardy to the weather and doesn't mind the rain, then you're still welcome to visit, you might want to bring a towel to dry your dog off before the car journey home. The only occasion where it may not be possible is when the field may be flooded due to heavy rainfall. In these instances, we will offer to re-schedule your visit or refund you. We will always contact clients prior to their visit if we must cancel their appointment. It's always wise to check your emails before you leave home if we’ve had bad weather.
